A post back from home

So dear blog followers, it’s been no less than three whole months since my last update here – and admittedly,  I do feel quite bad about this.  It was a period packed with activity, from shooting weddings to hiking in the Alps and seeing my work published in National Geographic.  Also, MUSE (which is this really cool camera/spectrograph I’m working on at the AIP) has been delivering some fantastic data.  So indeed, there was a lot I could have posted about (and indeed I wanted to).  However, I had very little time left – and ended up neglecting my blog as the weeks rolled by.  So I am writing this new post back from home in Gozo, the same place I was when I wrote my last post.

Ah, Gozo!  The embracing warm air, the smell of salty water, the sight of Globigerina limestone buildings brightly reflecting the warm glow of the evening sun, the sound of crashing waves.  I could go on.  These (among so many other qualities) are what I especially miss when I’m away from here.  Anyway, this is becoming too lengthy, so I’m going to stop now and leave you with a picture, which is what you folks come here for after all!
