Iceland: A portrait

I have recently been on a camping trip to Iceland, where (needless to say) I took hundreds of pictures. I have compiled a few of my favourite ones so far (as I’m still going through the pictures I snapped) into a short video-presentation which you can view here. Free like a bird.

For me, one of the most exciting photographic fields is that of animal photography, especially bird photography. Looking at my Animal Photography portfolio (click here), I realize that I haven’t had a go in a while. So it’s quite a good thing that we spotted this majestic bird soaring high above yesterday afternoon while we were at t’Ghammar. One hopes that it will not end up shot by hunters! It is simply great to be able to see such a magnificent creature gliding across the sky.
