Yesterday we had a strong gale-force wind (force 9 at one point) which led to some really big waves. Of course I couldn’t let such a fantastic photographic opportunity go by, so I headed out to snap a few pictures of the crashing waves. Little did I know I would unsuspectingly end up being dragged into the sea by a wave of massive proportions, which swept me off the ground, camera and all, and pushed me against one of the many jagged rocks. No worries though. The camera is still fine.
This place keeps drawing me to it. It is a site which I’ve photographed countless times before, yet every time feels like my first time. It possesses a beauty and timelessness which conveys to me a sense of peace like no other place. So yesterday I went along with all the kit hoping to get a new angle on it.
