Pause
So, lately I have been doing more street photography. When I get some time these days, I head out for a walk in the city centre simply to take pictures of life as it unfolds. And when you stay in a corner for hours on end, silently observing people as they hustle and bustle through a busy street, you start to learn how to sift through the veil of noisy chaos and spot those brief and silent moments that are to be found all around you. The very moments when life seems to pause very briefly just so that you could capture it before its clock resumes. Very often it is said that these captured scenes are moments frozen in time. And whilst this is indeed true, quite often it feels like it is the momentary expression upon someone’s face that is in effect freezing time itself for you.
